At Cameron Heights we go all out. On Mondays we wear red. On Tuesdays we wear green. On Wednesdays we wear, no not pink, but yellow. On Thursdays we mix it all together for our banging spirit assembly with the coolest co-chiefs anyone could ever ask for. I mean, Meena and Noah dressed up as Gucci flip flops for Halloween. It can't get better than that. With all these festivities, lets give you a rundown on what went down. First, we had the 3 days leading up to the amazing spirit assembly. On Monday we headed to the stage to participate in Name that Tune. Our competitors went head to head, fighting for a chance to show their music prowess. Tuesday was bingo in the caf where everyone rushed to get themselves a shot to scream, “BINGO!”. Finally, on Wednesday, we had a kahoot to test our knowledge about various school events such as the 50th Anniversary. Then came … the Spirit Assembly. We all walked into the sounds of I Like It Like That and immediately revived our groggy selves and got ready to witness one of the best assemblies ever. We started out with Meena and Noah coming out onto the stage in yellow and green boxes. They sang us a remix of I Love It, Cameron edition! We cheered them on as they sang their Cameron lyrics. Next, we had series of videos capulsing the various sports and clubs within the school. We watched in awe as countless Gaels were showcased playing their sports with hype music in the background. Cameron’s Dance Team wowed us with their hip-hop performance to an amazing remix of energetic music. Nardos also sang her wonderful original song, as everyone encouraged her. Up next we had the best, Hands down the best video of the entire assembly. Three words: ESF. ESF is coming up Cameron! This year is all about the why. Why do we decide to run ESF, what does it stand for? ESF represents the Empty Stocking Fund and all the donations go to Children and Family Services. We have ESF every year for the children who can't afford to indulge themselves in gifts from Santa. So Cameron, get ready to buy your krispy kremes, candy grams, take photos with Santa, go to Homecoming, and many more surprise events! Continue to be spirited, Gaels!
